Symbiosis always believed in up-skilling the students and with the same vision has started “SYMBIOSIS CENTRE FOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT” (SCSD) at its Nagpur campus. SCSD, Nagpur came into existence in 2019 and serves as a prominent Skill Development Centre in Central India. We are well equipped to offer a world class experience in terms of Infrastructure like Studio Classrooms, Computer Labs, Experiential Learnings Labs, Library, Sports Complex, Gym, Auditorium and much more.
Any City/State to get developed needs flourishing Industries and Industry needs skilled manpower. Skilling helps to complete the assigned task efficiently and in specific time. This ultimately helps to keep the cost of the industry product more competitive. Better the product and cheaper the cost makes the industry more competitive. And all this can be achieved with skilled manpower.
Being into the placement domain for more than a decade I understand the expectations of the industry. Hence we at SCSD will always focus on providing the required skills and skilled manpower to the industry not only in Vidarbha but across various states. We wish to collaborate with various industry players to design & train the youth who could work in the industry with required skill set.
At one end we are focusing on industrial skill and at other end we would train candidates on skills required by the society at large, like Beauty & Grooming, Photography & Film Making, Drafting and many such. The skills required by the society are very common and demanding. Candidate once trained in these skills will be encouraged to be an entrepreneur. The candidate can independently start delivering services and earn their livelihood.
Symbiosis being an established and responsible brand in education sector; is willing to train the youth and the women’s from underprivileged & economically weaker section of the society and thus contribute towards upliftment of the society and contributing to “Developing India”.
Let’s have a vision of again making INDIA as “सोने की चिड़िया” by working towards “SKILLED INDIA".
